What students have said
Your classes have been so informative and (another student) said it best the other day when she said taking your classes really showed her one important thing. ‘You don’t know what you don’t know’. I have personally implemented several of your ideas into place an am already feeling the relief of overwhelm from following your gentle wisdom and guidance! Many Thanks!
~ Malathy Drew

Registration for March class closed! Thank you!
If you want a WordPress-based website because of all the great things you’ve heard, but aren’t sure where to begin, this introduction is for you!
Perhaps you want to understand just how easy it is to add a blog post, create a specific look, or add a certain function to a WordPress-based site. Maybe you don’t know if you want to install and configure WordPress yourself, or hire someone to create the site. Perhaps you have other questions, or want some guidance as to how to begin.
In this class, I introduce you to WordPress, showing you essential information you must know in order to make informed decisions about exactly what direction you want to take, and how much you want to do yourself, before you begin your WordPress adventure! The knowledge you gain in this session can save you a lot of time, money, and frustration.
This session helps you understand:
- The front end of a WordPress-based website
- How you change the front end via the back end, or administrative area
- Posts, pages, widgets, plugins, theme options, and tags
- The WordPress Dashboard
- What to consider when you choose a theme
- What’s easy to change in WordPress, and what’s not so easy to change
