Training + Training Design

Over the years, I’ve written and presented training for software, construction, biotech, publishing, communications, travel, power, and service companies. A great deal of what I’ve done has been technical-oriented, yet non-technical, soft-skills, fitness, and gender-related training is also in my repertoire. My training has been presented in the classroom, in the field, over the web, and through blended-learning environments.

Experience in rigorous, highly-regulated industries, years of training and writing experience, and knowledge of adult education and ADDIE are some of what I bring to my work, which includes:

  • Analysis and review of training needs
  • Analysis and review of processes to be trained
  • Focus groups, SME interviews, and M&P interviews
  • Task analysis and DIF analysis
  • Process flows and overviews
  • Reference mapping for defensibility
  • Training guides and product documentation
  • Job aids/cheat sheets/quick reference cards
  • Web-based training
  • Classroom presentation materials (instructor guides, student guides, slides, etc.)
  • Video on demand
  • Train-the-trainer materials and sessions
  • Training schedules and paths
  • One-on-one and group training
